Well not quite “official”, but we have some reasonably solid evidence to back up our claims.   Our poll on Compare GHD has been running for a while now and at the time of writing has 113 respondents to the question:

ghd dark and ghd pure are two hot limited edition ghd straighteners – ghd pure is all white and ghd dark is glossy black. Of the two which would you be more likely to buy?

Whilst students of opinion polling might suggest that 113 is not a big enough sample, those 113 have certainly expressed a clear preference for the ghd pure over the ghd dark.
